Today's poem, To the Autumn Cosmos

Even in the late autumn fields, with the cold wind blowing,
This is a poem written while gazing at the cosmos blooming proudly.

Like the cosmos that overcomes the chilly wind and cold dew,
in its own way,
we too can grow slowly,
in our own time and manner. This is the message I wanted to convey.

Not everyone needs to bloom in spring.
Sometimes, even blooming in late autumn,
is perfectly alright.

Just as everyone has a different season,
the pace of growth and the time of flowering are different, too.
Even in this moment,
you are becoming someone's special autumn.

That alone is meaningful and beautiful enough.
Hoping this will be a small comfort to everyone passing through this chilly season...

The reason the cosmos can bloom even in late autumn is
because it can turn even the chilly wind into a dance,
and sway with a proud grace,
with such ease.

The reason it can dream of reaching the sky's edge is
because it can turn even the cold dew into jewels,
and transform the desolate fields into a garden,
with such a heart.

Because you are still a small sprout,
it's okay not to hurry.
It's okay not to tremble in the chilly wind.
You will become someone's autumn in this way.
