Even as time flows on,
will the longing in my heart remain the same?
To the question posed by the moonlight I saw leaning against the window,
I answer with silence, once again.

In all of our hearts,
isn't there at least one longing we cannot erase?
Isn't there?

Tonight, may the moonlight also linger
at your window...

Moonlight's Question

One evening, the moonlight asked.

Where did you put,
the longing that has passed?

Like tears,
the days that passed by,
now bloom as mist.

Leaning against the window,
the seasons always remained in their place,
repeatedly blooming and fading.

Sadly,
nothing had changed.

On the path I walked every day,
the trees remained green,
people came and went, but
my longing remained the same.

Now, the moonlight asks again,
why does your heart remain the same?

Like the stars in the night sky,
answering with silence,
I remain still.
